Kobzarska Sich
Emlenton, PA (August)

Kobzarska Sich provides a unique opporunity for young people and adults to learn to play the bandura and sing Ukrainian choral music. The camp, which has been sponsored by the Ukrainian Bandurist Chorus since 1979, is typically held in August at the All Saints Camp in Emlenton, Pennsylvania.

This two-week course is intended for students 12+. It focuses on over seven hours of daily group instruction in bandura technique, history, solo and ensemble musicianship, and elementary music theory (as needed). There is also free time for sport, swimming, and relaxation. Many WBE members started as Kobzarska Sich students.
